MiniMax H3 is the July 2026 video model from MiniMax, published under the name Hailuo 03 as well. It renders a picture and a stereo soundtrack in the same pass, and it takes a generous set of references, so you can keep the same character, the same movement style and even the same voice across several shots. Clips reach 2K, which is enough for YouTube and client presentations.

What you can make

Settings that matter

• Length: 4 to 15 seconds, 6 by default.
• Resolution: 768P (1344x768) or 2K (2560x1440). 2K is the default, so drop to 768P for drafts.
• Aspect ratio: for text-only runs choose a fixed shape, because adaptive is not accepted there. Kadraris sends 16:9 if you leave it empty.
• Frames and references: either a first and last frame, or references of up to 9 images, 3 video clips and 3 audio tracks.
• Reference costs: images from the sixth to the ninth are charged one by one, so five usually covers it. Audio references are free but need an image or a clip in the same request.
• Prompt length: up to 7,000 characters, so there is room to describe both the scene and the sound.
