Personalized Birthday Song With AI - Name, Lyrics, Style

Make a personalized AI birthday song with a name in Mureka V9: three lyric templates, six style prompts, fixes for misheard names, photo video and cost.

A birthday song that says the person's name out loud lands differently than a playlist track. With Mureka V9 you only fill in two things: the lyrics (with the name and a few shared memories) and a short line describing the style. The model composes the melody, plays the arrangement and sings it, and you download an audio file. Each song costs $0.15 per song from your balance, and if a generation fails you pay nothing.

This guide gives you lyric templates for a mom, a dad and a child, six style lines you can paste, a way to fix a name the model sings wrong, and a short photo video to go with the song.

Start with the cost

Pricing is per song, not per second, so a longer text does not raise the bill.

What you makePrice
One song in Mureka V9$0.15 per song
Optional video in Music Video 1.0from $0.11 per second of audio

A simple way to budget:

text
total = songs you generate × price per song
+ (if you want a video) seconds × video rate

Most people make two or three takes: the name spelled normally, the name spelled phonetically, and maybe a second genre. That means 2 × or 3 × $0.15 per song. There is no subscription, the balance does not expire, and the leftover is there for the next birthday. You can check any combination in the AI cost calculator or on the pricing page.

Collect the raw material first

Mureka V9 will not run without lyrics. The style field is optional, but if you leave it blank the model chooses the genre for you. Before you open Studio, write down:

  • the name exactly as friends say it (short nicknames are often easier to sing than a full first name),
  • three small memories, each one a concrete picture: a road trip, a phrase they always repeat, a dish they cook, a funny accident,
  • the style you want (see the table further down),
  • a handful of photos if you plan to make a video too.

Lyric templates you can fill in

Words in capitals are placeholders. Replace them and delete the capitals, including any numbers. Never wrap the name in square brackets: the model treats anything in brackets as a section tag and will not sing it. Each memory works best as a short phrase of 6 to 10 syllables, for example "the night we missed the last train home" or "your famous burnt lasagna".

For mom

text
[Verse]
Mom, I still think of MEMORY 1
The kitchen light, the radio on
And how about MEMORY 2
You made the hard days feel like fun
[Chorus]
NAME, today is yours
Open every window, open every door
NAME, this one's for you
Every line is true, every line is you
[Verse]
And then there's MEMORY 3
You taught me more than you could see
So light the candles, pass the cake
Tonight we sing for you, not me
[Chorus]
NAME, today is yours
Open every window, open every door
NAME, this one's for you
Every line is true, every line is you
[Outro]
Happy birthday, mom

For dad

text
[Verse]
Dad, we never forget MEMORY 1
You swore the map was always right
Then came MEMORY 2
We laughed about it half the night
[Chorus]
Go, NAME, one more year
Same old jokes and the same big cheer
Go, NAME, crank it loud
You're the reason we're all proud
[Verse]
Nothing beats MEMORY 3
You fixed it all with tape and glue
So sit back down and let us cook
Today the work is not for you
[Chorus]
Go, NAME, one more year
Same old jokes and the same big cheer
Go, NAME, crank it loud
You're the reason we're all proud
[Outro]
Happy birthday, dad

For a child (or any friend)

text
[Verse]
Who's the first one out of bed?
Who's got a crown upon their head?
We remember MEMORY 1
And MEMORY 2, that was fun
[Chorus]
NAME, NAME, spin around
Feet are dancing off the ground
NAME, NAME, make a wish
Cake and candles on the dish
[Verse]
And what about MEMORY 3?
Laughing loud as loud can be
Bigger, braver, every day
Blow the candles, hip hooray
[Chorus]
NAME, NAME, spin around
Feet are dancing off the ground
NAME, NAME, make a wish
Cake and candles on the dish

A few habits that keep the text easy to sing:

  • repeat the chorus in full each time, the model does not expand shortcuts like "chorus x2",
  • write ages and numbers as words ("turning forty", not "turning 40"),
  • keep the three memories roughly the same length, so the verse does not stumble,
  • place the name at the very start or very end of a line.

Pick a style line

Paste one of these into Prompt as it is, or change the tempo and voice to taste.

StyleText for the Prompt fieldWho it suits
Popupbeat pop, female vocal, bright synths, claps, 118 bpm, happy birthday partyanyone, a party
Acousticacoustic ballad, warm male vocal, fingerpicked guitar, soft piano, 72 bpm, emotionalmom, a round birthday
Rockclassic rock, raspy male vocal, overdriven guitars, big drums, 128 bpm, energeticdad, guitar lovers
Kidschildren's song, cheerful female vocal, ukulele, xylophone, hand claps, 110 bpm, simple melodychildren
Jazzsmooth jazz, female vocal, upright bass, brushed drums, warm Rhodes, 95 bpm, elegantgrandparents, a dinner
Rapboom bap hip hop, confident male rap vocal, vinyl crackle, punchy drums, 90 bpmteenagers, siblings

Two adjustments that help: for rap, make the chorus lines shorter and end them on the name so it hits like a punchline. For the slow ballad you can afford longer memory lines, since the tempo leaves room.

Generate it in Kadraris Studio

  1. Sign in and go to Kadraris Studio, then the Audio tab.
  2. Choose Mureka V9 from the model list.
  3. Take a template, swap in the name and the three memories.
  4. Paste the finished text into Lyrics.
  5. Paste a style line into Prompt.
  6. Look at the price shown under the form, then press Generate.
  7. Play the result. If the name sounds off, change how it is spelled (next section) and run it again.
  8. Download the file straight away. The history stays in your account, but the file links stop working after some time.

When the model sings the name wrong

Names are the most common weak spot: silent letters, spellings from another language, or stress on the wrong syllable. The fix is to write the name the way it should sound, not the way it is spelled.

NameWhy it tripsTry writing
SiobhanIrish spellingShiv-awn
NiamhIrish spellingNeev
JoaquinSpanish "j"Wah-keen
SaoirseIrish spellingSeer-sha
Xavierfirst sound differs by languageZay-vee-er or Ha-vee-air
Emmanormally no problemkeep as is

To avoid paying for guesses:

  • try the regular spelling first, it is often fine,
  • if it is wrong, generate one phonetic version and compare the two,
  • split syllables with hyphens when the model swallows the middle of the name,
  • a nickname is shorter and usually comes out cleaner,
  • every take is a full new song, so two takes cost 2 × $0.15 per song.

Nobody will see the odd spelling. It only sits in the lyrics field, and the listener just hears the name sung correctly. If you add on-screen text in a video, type the real name in the title field or in your editor.

Turn the song into a photo video

Music Video 1.0 builds a video that follows the beat of an audio file. You give it the song (10 to 300 seconds) and between 1 and 7 images, such as photos of the birthday person. It supports 9:16 for stories and reels, 16:9 for a TV screen, and 540P, 720P or 1080P.

  1. Save the Mureka V9 result as an MP3.
  2. In Studio switch to Video and select Music Video 1.0.
  3. Upload the audio and the photos.
  4. Describe the mood in Prompt, for example "cozy living room party, balloons, candle glow, joyful".
  5. Put something like "Happy Birthday, Emma" in Title, it may appear in the subtitles.
  6. Check the price and press Generate.

You pay from $0.11 per second of the song, and the exact rate depends on the resolution. A two-minute song means 120 billed seconds. Only use photos of people who agree to it. Other ways to build a music video are in AI music video.

Doing it in bulk through the API

If you sell personalized songs, for example as a gift shop add-on, send the same inputs to POST /v1/generate:

bash
curl "https://kadraris.com/v1/generate?wait=120" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $KADRARIS_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "mureka-v9",
    "input": {
"lyrics": "[Verse]\nMom, I still think of our summer by the lake\nThe kitchen light, the radio on\n[Chorus]\nEmma, today is yours\nOpen every window, open every door",
"prompt": "acoustic ballad, warm male vocal, soft piano, 72 bpm"
    }
  }'

Line breaks inside the lyrics are written as \n. If the task ends with status failed, it costs 0.

Questions

Which template and style fit a parent?

For a mom, the first template with the acoustic or jazz line usually feels right. For a dad, the second template pairs well with rock or pop, and his favorite sayings make the best memories. Either way, one take costs $0.15 per song.

Can it sound like me singing?

No. Kadraris does not clone voices. Mureka V9 uses its own singers, and you can only steer the type with words like female vocal, male vocal, child-like vocal or raspy. If you want your own voice on it, generate the song, remove the vocal with Music Extractor and sing over the instrumental yourself.

Can I paste the lyrics of a classic birthday song?

Avoid pasting full lyrics of existing songs. Write your own words or use the templates above. Mureka V9 always writes a new melody for whatever text you give it, so it will not reproduce a known tune anyway. Sing the classic live at the party and play the AI song as the gift.

How long will the song be, and is there a free option?

There is no length setting: the song is as long as your lyrics need, and two verses with two choruses give a short, complete track. There is also no free plan or starter credit. You top up from $10, pay per song and failed takes cost nothing.
