Seedream 5.0 Flash

Seedream 5.0 Flash came out in September 2026 and does more than turn text into pictures. Mark a spot on your reference image and it changes only that spot, leaving the rest of the photo as it was. It can also blend up to ten references into one scene. The size tiers all cost the same, so the only reason to go smaller is speed.

What you can make

• A photo where one object is replaced and everything around it stays identical.
• Wide banners at 2:1 or 21:9.
• Composites that put a product, a person and a location together.

Settings that matter

• Resolution: 1K, 1.5K or 2K, same price. A 1K image takes about 90 seconds, 2K about 160.
• Aspect ratio: 10 shapes plus auto, set through aspect_ratio (for example "2:1"). Exact pixel dimensions are not accepted in Kadraris.
• References: up to 10 per request. Supported: JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, GIF, HEIC and HEIF, with a ceiling of 30 MB and 36 megapixels each.
• Region edits: mark the area on the reference, then name it in the prompt and say what must stay.
• Waiting: since a job can take a minute or more, use a webhook or check /v1/tasks/{id} from time to time.
• Not exposed yet: transparent backgrounds, exact pixel sizes and splitting into PNG layers.

How much does Seedream 5.0 Flash cost?

$0.0343 per image for any of the three sizes. You pay nothing for a failed run.

Can it give me separate PNG layers?

Not here yet. ByteDance's model can split an image into a base and up to 16 transparent layers, but Kadraris returns one flat image per request.

Flash or Seedream 5.0 Pro?

Pick Seedream 5.0 Pro for posters and covers with lettering. Flash is the better fit for region edits and flat pricing across sizes.
